Chicken Salad Chick Joins Erlanger Medical Mall, Additional Restaurant Space Available

Erlanger Health System and Chicken Salad Chick announce a new partnership bringing the popular restaurant to the Erlanger Medical Mall Aug. 21.

“We are pleased to partner with Erlanger Hospital to provide a fresh and quick dining option for employees, patients and visitors,” says Josh Patton, owner of Chicken Salad Chick. “We’ve delivered to Erlanger every day for almost two years for lunch orders and caterings and are thrilled to have a permanent location in the Medical Mall.”

Guests will enjoy a menu featuring a variety of savory, spicy and traditional Southern flavors made in-house each day with fresh ingredients. Items include gourmet soups, seasonal salads and side dishes such as broccoli salad topped with crispy bacon or grape salad with brown sugar pecan topping. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available as well. The Medical Mall location will use the Chicken Salad Chick app and point system with online ordering and payment available in the fall.

“Chicken Salad Chick is a great addition when it comes to bringing more options to our associates, patients and their families,” says Britt Tabor FACHE, Chief Financial Officer at Erlanger Health System. “The menu is a welcome option to our already vast choices at the hospital and will make a nice complement to our Baroness Bistro offerings as our campus continues to grow.”

With Chick-Fil-A and Subway in the Baroness Bistro and Starbucks located in the Medical Mall, Chicken Salad Chick will be the fifth eatery available at Erlanger’s downtown location.

About Chicken Salad Chick:

The Chicken Salad Chick concept was established in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. When Stacy discovered that the local county health department would not allow her to continue making and selling her recipes out of her home kitchen, she overcame that obstacle by launching her first restaurant with the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant, which quickly grew to 70 restaurants in nine states across the Southeast.
