Welcome to the INCubator: Peptide Test

The INCubator is excited to welcome Peptide Test as one of our newest clients. Founded by Chad Stiles, Peptide Test is addressing a growing challenge in today’s health and wellness marketplace: helping consumers verify product quality in an industry where accuracy, transparency, and trust are often difficult to guarantee.

As more individuals take ownership of their health decisions, the demand for independent verification continues to rise. Peptide Test enters this space with a clear mission — to bring precision and credibility to a market that urgently needs both.

Building a Business Where Trust Was Missing

Peptide Test was born from firsthand experience. While researching peptides as part of his own health optimization journey, Chad encountered a common issue facing many consumers: products arriving as unlabeled powders in small glass vials, often sourced internationally and operating outside traditional FDA regulatory structures.

“You definitely have a moment of clarity when you’re being asked to trust that what’s in an unlabeled vial from a foreign country is actually what it’s supposed to be,” Chad said.

That uncertainty led Chad to seek independent testing — only to discover that no consumer-facing laboratory in the U.S. offered the service. The alternative required shipping samples to Europe, navigating customs paperwork, expensive logistics and slow turnaround times.

“If I was looking for this service,” Chad explained, “I knew other people were too. It didn’t exist in the format people expect today, so I built it.”

Peptide Test was created to fill that gap, offering a streamlined, consumer-friendly testing process that allows customers to verify quality without unnecessary friction.

Why Verification Matters More Than Ever

Shifts in the healthcare landscape have made independent decision-making increasingly common. For many consumers, guidance is inconsistent, insurance coverage is limited and access to certain therapies can feel restrictive. As a result, individuals are researching and sourcing products on their own.

With that autonomy comes a fundamental need: confidence in product quality.

“In the past, you went to your doctor and insurance paid for it,” Chad said. “For a lot of people today, that’s just not reality anymore.”

Peptide Test exists to provide clarity in this environment — serving as an independent verification layer that helps consumers confirm what they’re buying before placing trust in a product.

Delivering Value Through Accuracy and Reliability

Trust sits at the center of Peptide Test’s value proposition. As a company responsible for verifying what a product is, credibility is essential.

“When you’re the company verifying what something is, the business simply doesn’t work unless people believe your results are reliable and accurate,” Chad said.

To meet that standard, Peptide Test validates its analytical methods using USP <1225>, the same framework used by U.S. pharmaceutical companies. While this approach is rigorous and time-intensive, it ensures consistent, defensible results.

“We work hard to be leaders on speed and cost as well,” Chad added, “but never at the expense of accuracy.”

Rather than competing solely on price, Peptide Test emphasizes education, service and transparency — helping customers understand what testing can and cannot tell them so they can make informed decisions.

Standing Apart in a Competitive Market

Peptide Test differentiates itself by pairing pharmaceutical-grade testing standards with a consumer-first approach. The company works directly with customers, prioritizing clear communication, responsive service and long-term trust.

“We value the relationship we have with the peptide community,” Chad said. “If we stay consistent on quality, service and reliable results, we believe we’ll continue building a loyal customer base.”

Early profitability allowed the company to reinvest in automation and scalable systems, enabling growth without sacrificing credibility — an approach reflected in strong customer retention.

Scaling with Intention

Growth at Peptide Test has been deliberate. What began as a testing service organically expanded into selling lab supplies directly to consumers, driven by customer demand. Without a background in fulfillment, the team built internal systems from scratch, designing operations with scalability in mind.

As the company grows, significant investment remains focused on building out a new laboratory at the INCubator, managing OEM vendor relationships and expanding manufacturing through FDA-registered cGMP facilities.

“Spending time and money early to automate routine tasks has been some of the best money we’ve spent,” Chad explained.

Why the INCubator

For Peptide Test, joining the INCubator offered flexibility at a critical growth stage. With space needs expected to evolve, the ability to scale up — or transition out — without penalty was a major advantage.

“We’re growing so fast that we don’t really know how our space requirements will change year over year,” Chad said. “That kind of flexibility is a big advantage for a growth-stage startup.”

Beyond space, Chad and his team are excited to engage with Chattanooga’s entrepreneurial ecosystem after a period of largely siloed growth.

“Chattanooga is full of smart, innovative people,” Chad said. “We’re excited to soak in the spirit of growth and service and be part of the community.”
