Chattanooga Chamber Announces Leadership Class of 2024

The membership roster for the incoming Leadership Chattanooga class of 2024 is now available, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce announces.

“The incoming class participants resemble Chattanooga in their diversity, vibrancy and engagement. They represent the growing mosaic of industries and backgrounds within our city and county. I am confident in their success and eagerly anticipate collaborating with them to achieve our Velocity 2040 and Chattanooga Climbs‘ goal of increasing diversity in management, executive roles and elected positions,” Toya Moore, Leadership Development Director, Chattanooga Chamber said.

Established in 1984, Leadership Chattanooga is the premier leadership-development and civic-engagement program for greater Chattanooga professionals – promoting excellence through experiential learning opportunities, community service projects, and exclusive access to local and state leaders.

Beginning in August and adjourning with a graduation event in May, Leadership participants meet once a month for daylong sessions – advancing their leadership development, gaining insights into community challenges and brainstorming ways to contribute to the region’s growth and success.

“The participants in this year’s incoming class represent an extraordinary level of diversity in terms of gender, profession, race, ethnicity, and age. They embody the evolving face of America, reflecting the changing landscape we live in. I am confident that they will courageously tackle and delve into a wide range of subjects and concepts, equipping themselves to lead our community forward in the years to come,” Trae Cotton, Ph.D., Interim Dean of Humanities & Fine Arts, Chattanooga State Community College; and Leadership Chattanooga Curriculum Committee Chair said.
