Growing Involvement Parallels Local Economic Development

A record number of local organizations participated in the Hixson Business Expo hosted recently by the Hixson Council of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce.

This business networking event is held annually in Hixson to promote the growing number of local organizations and to serve as a platform from which they can jumpstart their goals for the upcoming year. All proceeds are allocated to the 2017-18 Hixson Chamber Council Enrichment Grants for the community’s local schools.

“With the Expo, we aim to promote economic development, networking and partnership opportunities for all business professionals in our footprint,” says Hixson Chamber Council President Donald Kane. “The overwhelming participation in this year’s event has surely exceeded our goals for the Enrichment Grants our organization will be presenting later this year.”

For more information on membership or member benefits, please contact the Hixson Chamber Council at [email protected]. Details on upcoming events can be found on the Hixson Chamber Council's Facebook page.
