Held the third Thursday of every month, After Hours brings business people together for an evening of networking and refreshments. RSVP here for our December After Hours Dec. 15 at The Sweet and Savory Classroom.

Trend: Why did you decide to host a Chamber networking event?
Sweet and Savory: We see the Chamber as a vibrant community advocate and wanted to partner.

T: What is special about your business?
S&S: The Sweet and Savory Classroom is a unique place to share the love of food and learn how to prepare it. We are the only cooking classroom locally that's dedicated solely to teaching the art of cooking to the public.

T: What’s your favorite part of being a Chamber member and why?
S&S: Our favorite part of being a Chamber member is meeting all of the wonderful people.

T: How does your business make a difference in our community?
S&S: The Sweet and Savory Classroom is relatively new to Chattanooga. We opened in Jan. 2016. Since opening we have had many great opportunities to make a difference in our community such as providing numerous donated classes for fundraisers at local schools and nonprofits. We have also had the privilege of hosting a fundraiser at our classroom to benefit a couple looking to adopt a child. We also partnered with an art teacher at Battle Academy to host a cooking and art camp this summer that brought 17 inner city boys to our classroom to cook, create art and be better leaders.

T: Anything else you’d like to add?
S&S: We moved to Chattanooga just over a year ago and love it here. The people and business owners here are so generous and welcoming.
