Vision Hospitality Group Celebrates 25 Years With Half-billion Dollars in New Investments

Vision Hospitality Group is a family-owned, hotel development and management company headquartered in Chattanooga. Founded in 1997, the chain currently has over 40 hotel properties running across the country. They recently celebrated their 25 year anniversary at the Hunter Museum of Art and are planning a significant expansion in the coming years.  

Mitch Patel, President and CEO, announced the company expects to add 15 more hotels with a half-billion dollars in new investments within the next three years. This expansion will encourage more growth for the group with some of the new properties valued at more than $50 million each.  

Vision Hospitality Group works with many brand-name hotel affiliates like Hilton and Marriott, but what sets them apart in the industry is their determination to create a place which foundation is built on integrity. The company prides itself on developing an environment based on set, core values: dedication, integrity, respect, excellence, community, teamwork and spirit.  

The company’s story begins when Patel’s family moves to the United States from India with hopes of fulfilling a dream. From opening their first 11-room motel in California, to now running one of the fastest-growing, family hotel chains in the country, the company’s successes are a celebration as more than just economic growth, but as a family’s dream coming to life.  

During the pandemic, the entire hotel industry was struck as travel was restricted and the demand for hotels substantially decreased.

Since the pandemic, the company has experienced substantial growth and expects to continue in the upward trend now that travel trends are rebounding. The company now employees 1,400 workers. According to the Times Free Press, Patel believes the property additions should aid in growing the group’s staff by 40%.  

Vision Hospitality Group has persevered through numerous obstacles since its founding, but the company’s dedication to the industry and to the communities that support it creates a unique and inspiring atmosphere for guests.
