Businesses participating in the sweepstakes are sourcing locally made products, said Emily Mack, president and CEO, River City Company, — avoiding supply delays.

As the holidays approach, businesses have attempted to increase inventory. While retailers are attempting to meet the holiday rush, up to 77% of ports are currently experiencing delays on delivery and businesses are struggling through supply shortages.

Good news for retailers:  many shoppers want to make up for limited in-person shopping in the 2020 holiday season, one study shows 30% plan to increase purchases this year to compensate for  disrupted holiday shopping last year.

The same study reveals 50% report they want to save money by using more coupons for holiday shopping – a perfect match with River City Company’s sweepstakes.

To enter, shoppers must visit participating businesses, where there will be a QR code  to scan. After scanning,  the user will be prompted to provide contact information and enter a mystery verification word. For every three submissions, participants receive one entry to win the Chattanooga Express Card. The drawing will be Dec. 17 at noon.
