Protégé Chattanooga Opens Class of 2024-25 Nominations

Nominations for Protégé Chattanooga 2024-25 are officially open, announced Toya Moore, Leadership Development Director at the Chattanooga Chamber.

“Protégé Chattanooga is designed to support the development of young professionals to help them become our city’s future leaders,” Moore said.

“The program attracts many of Chattanooga’s most talented professionals by offering them opportunities to learn from esteemed local business and civic leaders, fostering collaboration that benefits the entire community. Our goal is to ensure that this program reflects the rich diversity of Chattanooga’s professional landscape.”

The nine-month program allows a maximum of 24 early to mid-career professionals to learn and connect with diverse peers and area business and community leaders. Starting with an orientation on August 29th, cohorts will meet twice a month in a daytime or evening session and conclude with a graduation ceremony on May 8, 2025.

Protégé’s past candidates include those in leadership positions at companies and organizations such as Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), The Enterprise Center, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the City of Chattanooga.

Applicants must be between the ages of 21-40. The cost to participate in Protégé Chattanooga is $700, and some partial scholarships are available.

Protégé Chattanooga is a team-based mentoring program for early to mid-career professionals hosted by Young Professionals of Chattanooga (YPC) and the Chattanooga Chamber Foundation.

“Protégé nominations are simple and take less than five minutes to complete. They’re open to YPC and non-YPC members equally. If you know someone that’s looking to become Chattanooga’s next influential leader, we encourage you to nominate them today,” Moore said.

Nominations are accepted until March 11, here
