Chattanooga Chamber Hosts Membership Blitz

The Chattanooga Area Chamber hosts a safari-themed Membership Blitz as volunteers “hunt” for new members. The Blitz engages current Chamber member businesses, Chamber Councils and other volunteers to canvas our community to educate businesses on the benefits and importance of Chamber membership.

“I’m volunteering during the Membership Blitz because I believe in the value of being a Chamber member,” said Carl Hames, Office Furniture Warehouse. “I see positive results in my business that have come directly from my association with the Chamber and its members. If you want your business to grow and want to make a lot of friends along the way, I highly recommend becoming part of this organization.”

New members who join during the Blitz receive special new member packages including media certificates, access to special discount programs, and other offers.

These new members will also be presented at the Chamber’s Business After Hours Oct. 20

Sponsored by Connections Promotional Products, MainStay Suites and Mr. Handyman of Chattanooga — and hosted by the Chattanooga Zoo, October’s After Hours concludes the Blitz as a wrap-up party (featuring door prizes) for new members, volunteers and current Chamber members.

“Every business, regardless of industry or size, should join the Chamber because it's the right thing to do,” said Penny Hughey, STEAM Society. “The Chamber works hard behind the scenes on many initiatives that benefit our community, from helping prepare youth for the workforce to job development and economic growth for our area. A business’s survival depends on its being located in a thriving community, and the Chamber is constantly involved in initiatives that help our community thrive.”
