How BLS Graduates Are Transforming Chattanooga’s Business Future

The Chattanooga Chamber’s Business Literacy Series continues to empower local entrepreneurs with the financial knowledge, clarity and confidence needed to grow strong businesses. This year’s graduates represent a diverse group of founders who are shaping Chattanooga’s future through innovation, community impact and a commitment to lifelong learning. Through nine intensive sessions, participants strengthened their understanding of financials, funding readiness, strategic planning and long‑term sustainability—skills they are now applying directly to their businesses. “Today, I feel more equipped, more focused, and more confident in my ability to lead my business with both vision and discipline,” says BLS graduate Cassie Sparks.

From funding access to creative services to community‑centered food experiences, each graduate brought a unique vision to the program and left with a stronger foundation to scale their work. Their stories reflect the power of education, collaboration and Chattanooga’s supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem. “They provided me with tools to better align myself and the business for funding opportunities, and connected me with an awesome ecosystem of entrepreneurs,” says Brittany Crutcher. Together, these business owners are building companies that not only grow revenue, but also strengthen neighborhoods, create opportunities and inspire the next generation of local leaders.
