Chattanooga Chamber Announces 2019 Small Business Award Recipients


(March 20, 2019) – The Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce presented the 2019 Small Business Awards to four recipients at the Chamber’s Small Business Awards Luncheon today.

Recipients are:

21-50 Employees: Office Furniture Warehouse
(Finalists: The Bitter AlibiThe Dwell Hotel)

51-300 Employees: Hutton

(Finalists: Metal Working SolutionsTrident Transport)

Nonprofit: Signal Centers

(Finalists: Chattanooga Area Food BankCreative Discovery Museum)

“People from every persuasion come together to make our city better,” said Donna McConnico, CEO of Signal Centers, after an acceptance speech in which she asked attendees who work for or volunteer with a nonprofit to stand. That included someone at nearly every table in a room of more than 1,200 area business leaders who attended today’s event.

Small Business Award finalists and recipients are selected by an independent volunteer committee of local business leaders convened by the Chattanooga Chamber.

Before and after today’s awards luncheon, attendees explored EXPO Chattanooga, the region’s largest tradeshow for local business featuring more than 200 exhibitors.
