Hixson Council Receives Chamber Accolades

Pictured above: Hixson Business Expo (event held pre-COVID-19)

For the first time in Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce history, the same Council took home both the annual Council Membership Growth Award and the Council of the Year recognition, at the Chamber’s virtual Annual Meeting.

Congratulations to the Hixson Council of the Chattanooga Chamber.

The Hixson Council finished the year strong with 12 new Chamber members totaling $6,400 in new membership dollars. Three of the new businesses came on board during the pandemic.

The Hixson Council is committed to the businesses in their footprint and bridging them to Hixson schools. To support online learning, the Hixson Council gave $6,000 in grants in 2019-20. Their monthly lunch attendance grew to an average of 45+ each month, and the Council also added additional networking events pre-COVID-19.
