Congratulations to our 2018 Small Business Award Recipients

Of all Hamilton County businesses, more than 93 percent have less than 50 employees, and almost half of Hamilton County businesses employ one to four people.

The Small Business Awards celebrate these small businesses by recognizing a select group of small, local companies who distinguish themselves in a crowded market.

“I was so excited; my heart was beating fast,” says Laurie Stevens, founder of the Chattanooga School of Language, on receiving her award. “I had my teachers around me and it’s just an incredible feeling. It’s nice to be part of this community and to be one of so many strong and innovative companies that we celebrated today.”
