Chattanooga ranks second for best city for female-owned businesses in the country according to a recent article. What resources are there for these women and how do you find them? Below are some of the best resources in town for female professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners.

Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC)
The TSBDC offers advice and resources for entrepreneurs, individuals and small business owners to jumpstart their businesses. Services include social media guidance, financial planning assistance and business plan development among many others.

SCORE
A non-profit association, SCORE aims to help small business owners reach their goals with the help of education and mentorship. Services include mentors, business tools and workshops for little to no cost.

BrightBridge
BrightBridge helps small businesses acquire the funding they need for their business in partnership with local, state and federal governments, banks and private lenders.

JumpFund
The JumpFund supports and aids women as entrepreneurs, investors and leaders in economic development at all levels from start-ups to corporations.

Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute (CWLI)
CWLI focuses on the capabilities and influence of women in business and in the Chattanooga community. Through networking events and training, CWLI provides unique opportunities to benefit you as a woman in business.

MomSource
MomSource is dedicated to advocating for flexible employment by connecting professional moms with progressive employers.
