What is Chattanooga 2.0?

Mission: Chattanooga 2.0 is a community-led movement to write the next chapter in our future by transforming education and workforce opportunities

Vision:

  • A community that ensures that all residents have meaningful opportunities to succeed in school, work, and lifeCall to action regarding the economic and moral imperative for change
  • Diverse coalition from across Hamilton County, including educators, parents, students, government, business, non-profit, philanthropic, civic and faith leaders
  • Community aspirations, and associated measures, for learning and life outcomes
  • Bold strategies for realizing these aspirations across early childhood, K-12, post-secondary education and workforce development
  • Actions and resources linked to these strategies
  • A sustained long-term effort, where the coalition supports and tracks Hamilton County's progress over time
  • Implemented by partners across the entire community in the spirit of the “Chattanooga Way,” building on Chattanooga 1.0's legacy of place-based economic revitalization

Chatt 2.0 is a multi-year journey.
