Interview with Heidi Foster, UTC Entrepreneurship Student

Amanda Ellis

“I’m an adult student, mother of three, with a passion for music, the arts and bringing those together in business.”

Q: Why did you decide to major in/study entrepreneurship?
A:
I decided to major in Entrepreneurship because I felt like it would give me the most comprehensive knowledge on how to run a business of my own and/or give me the best skill set for helping operate another business.

Q: What do you hope to do after graduation? Or what's your business idea?
A:
After graduation I plan on continuing with my new ventures (River City Music Management and now Tanasi Entertainment). Under these two businesses, I will be helping artists in their musical development and management (RCMM) and I will be bringing various musical acts to Chattanooga to a new venue we are aiming to launch upon my graduation.
