Enhance Your Events with Video

Mandy Senn

Anyone who’s attended conferences or major events knows that energy drives success in the event world. A feeling of excitement and inspiration prompts people to attend in the first place and then come back each year. There are tons of ways to incorporate videos into your event. Click here to see samples of the various types of event videos.

Event Highlight Videos

Harness the excitement and energy of the event by creating a highlight video. Highlight videos are great to send to attendees post-event so they can continue reflecting on the fun memories they made. These videos are also important to send out to your audience members who weren’t able to make the event so they can see all the fun they missed. Then once you begin planning for next year’s event, slap a date and location graphic on the highlight video, and you’ve got yourself a promo piece. Check out our event highlight show reel to see all the ways to capture the fun.

Event Promo Videos

Trying to build pre-event buzz and recruit event attendees? Event promo videos are a great way to share the details while also building excitement about the event. Use promo videos on television or create a series of short video snippets for social media.

Event Kick-Off Videos

A kickoff video is a great way to set the tone for your event.  Are you looking to hype up your audience or tug at the heartstrings for potential donors? Kickoff videos can you help your organization share its message while setting the appropriate event tone.

Trade Show Videos

If you’re spending money on a trade show booth, why not go the extra mile and have a 30 to 60 second sizzle reel playing in your booth to promote your company or a specific product? Trade show videos are visually stimulating to your audience and can help you multitask by promoting your company to potential customers while you are chatting with other potential customers.

Award Recognition Videos

Are you honoring an individual or company at your event? What better way to honor the recipients and introduce them to the audience than a video? Help your attendees understand the “why” of the award and why the recipient was chosen.

Facebook Live Event Broadcasts

Want to engage your online audience during an event? Use Facebook Live (or other streaming services) to increase engagement and interact with your customers. Launch products, make big announcements, encourage donations for a charitable cause or simply build brand awareness. Live broadcasts are the way to go.
