Protégé Chattanooga Class of 2023-24 Nominations Open

Nominations for Protégé Chattanooga 2023-24 are now open, Toya Moore, Leadership Development Director, Chattanooga Chamber Foundation announces.

“Protégé Chattanooga supports the development of our city’s future leaders and aims to empower those working to better our communities,” Moore said.

“The program attracts Chattanooga’s brightest professionals by inviting them to hear from established local business and civic leaders, leading to collaborations with positive community-wide impact. We hope to make this class a diverse representation of Chattanooga’s professional scene.”

Protégé Chattanooga is a nine-month program in which early and mid-career professionals learn from a diverse group of seasoned professionals and each other. The program offers two cohorts –day or evening – made up of 12 future leaders each.

Past Protégé candidates hold leadership positions in companies and organizations including BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, UNUM, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and City of Chattanooga. Cohorts meet twice a month beginning with an orientation on August 24 and ending with graduation on May 9, 2024.

Applicants must be between the ages of 21-40. The cost to participate in Protégé Chattanooga is $500, and some partial scholarships are available.

Protégé Chattanooga is a team-based mentoring program for early to mid-career professionals hosted by Young Professionals of Chattanooga (YPC) and the Chattanooga Chamber Foundation.

“Protégé nominations are fairly simple and take less than five minutes. They are open to YPC and non-YPC members equally. If you know someone that’s looking to become Chattanooga’s next influential leader, we encourage you to nominate them today,” Moore said.

Nominations are accepted until March 20, here
