The Tennessee Entertainment Commission (TEC) is expanding its focus to include industries related to digital content creation.

In a new project called Create_Here, the TEC hones in on app developers, programmers and other areas of the tech industry.

Chattanooga is among the cities Create_Here highlights in the project. Bolstered by companies such as Skuid and Collider, Chattanooga, dubbed “The New South Hotspot” by the TEC’s website, is certain to contribute to the TEC’s new area of focus.

The Create_Here campaign also serves as an economic recruitment tool, geared towards bringing talented tech industry workers and entrepreneurs to Tennessee.
