About our sponsors:

Connections Promotional Products

Why did you decide to host a Chamber networking event?
This is a wonderful way to be visible to a large number of businesses, not to mention, these events are always great fun.

What is special about your business?
We work with our customers on an individual basis to help them match product their specific marketing plans. Basically, we care about what works.

What’s your favorite part of being a Chamber member and why?
As a business owner, I love being a part of the Chamber for several reasons.  The first of which is that you meet other business owners and representatives of businesses and get to interact with them at various meetings throughout the month.  The second reason is that we are now connected to the community as a whole, knowing firsthand what is happening in the area and how we might serve our community.

How does your business make a difference in our community?
I hope we are making a difference in our community by serving on two chamber boards and giving back to our non-profit customers.

MainStay Suites

Why did you decide to host a Chamber networking event?
It's a great way to show our support of the Chamber, for all the support that we get from them on a daily basis.

What is special about your business?
We own and operate our business, which gives us the chance to be personal with all our employees and our guests. We make it a point to make everyone feel like family.

What’s your favorite part of being a Chamber member and why?
That they actually care about my business. They have helped me become more aware of my entire community. Being apart of the Chamber has given me so many tools to grow my business and helped me become a vital member of my community.

How does your business make a difference in our community?
With the help of the Chamber's resources and networking opportunities, we know what the need is within our community, such as a food drive for the Chattanooga Food Bank, or a blood drive … ribbon cuttings – all small examples of how our community works together to support business.

Anything else you’d like to add?
Whatever you put into something is what you you get out. I've been in business since 2004, and we've had good years and not so good years, but when I became an Ambassador for the Chamber, I started attending networking events. I now sit on two Council boards, and am still an Ambassador. I can say that this year my business will be more profitable than ever before. My involvement in the Chamber has made me a better business owner.

Mr. Handyman of Chattanooga

Why did you decide to host a Chamber networking event?
I haven’t had the opportunity to be involved in Chamber events lately, so I thought this would be good exposure.

What is special about your business?
Although there are plenty of handymen out there, Mr. Handyman is different. We are woman-owned and operated, and all technicians are employees, not subcontractors. They are all background-checked and drug-tested to provide peace of mind to our customers that the best technicians possible are in their homes.

What’s your favorite part of being a Chamber member and why?
I think the opportunities to interact with other business owners are the best part of Chamber membership.

How does your business make a difference in our community?
In 2015, my staff and I participated in the National Day of Service on Sept. 11 and spent the day voluntarily making repairs and improvements at the Veterans of Foreign Wars hall in Cleveland. This November, we will all be volunteering our time and materials to the Ronald McDonald House for a day.

Held the third Thursday of every month, After Hours brings business people together for networking and refreshments.

If you'd like to host a networking event, contact Kaia Moore at 423-763-4357 or [email protected].
