Embellish Your Wardrobe

Lizzie Hickman

Everyone’s done it — stood in front of their closet slowly realizing you have nothing to wear that matches how you want to look and feel.

What if you had a wardrobe curated with pieces perfectly selected and styled for you by an experienced stylist?

If that sounds like a dream, Embellish is the fairy godmother making them come true. Embellish, located at Warehouse Row, offers exclusively curated shoes, handbags and clothing. Embellish offers clients an unparalleled shopping experience.

“While the lines we sell are represented in boutiques around the country, we purchase pieces in colors and styles that no one else has. That’s one reason clients enjoy shopping with us,” says Terri Holley, owner of Embellish.

Fresh styles and flirty patterns set Embellish apart from the national boutique market and Holley is careful to select lines that are not represented in other boutiques in Chattanooga. Embellish is our city’s largest boutique, giving them the opportunity to carry a diverse product mix. Holley keeps Chattanooga’s slant toward casual chic in mind.

“When developing our product mix, I think about what my clients want. I buy things for the clients who shop with me. Women travel from Atlanta, Huntsville and Knoxville to shop with us because of the way our collections are curated,” Holley says.

Market specific collections give clients a shopping experience that cannot be replicated online.  Shopping at Embellish ensures clients walk away with pieces that are flattering in color and fit. Expert sales associates select items of clothing for clients they may not have chosen for themselves.

“I’m not only in the business of selling, I’m also in the business of helping women look and feel their best,” Holley says. “I love when I’m working with someone, one-on-one, helping them build or add to their wardrobe or outfitting them for a specific event.”

Aside from professional styling, shopping with Embellish supports small business as clients choose from collections that reflect local style and feed Chattanooga’s economy.

“Everyone shops online. Because it’s easy and convenient. It’s important to understand that local businesses contribute to the community in many ways, through both paying taxes and providing jobs. Without local support, boutiques will go out of business,” Holley says.

Clients build relationships with Embellish associates, giving them a unique level of confidence in their purchases.

“I would rather a client leave empty-handed than feel like we were pushy or sold them something that wasn’t right for them. The biggest advantage in shopping locally is being able to shop with someone you have rapport with.”
