Tennessee American Water Main Break Repair Continues


Customers in Downtown, North Chattanooga Will Be Impacted Until Friday Evening

 

Chattanooga, Tenn. (September 12, 2019) – Tennessee American Water experienced a main break late Thursday evening, September 12, near its plant.  As we continue the repair, more customers will be affected, including downtown and North Chattanooga and experience low to no water pressure.

We sent a CodeRed, emergency notification to customers this morning, Friday, September 13 to alert the affected area.  We anticipate this repair to take all day.

We apologize for the inconvenience as we work safely and as quickly as possible to complete the repair and restore water service.
