What’s New for You in 2022

The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce has new and exciting developments planned for 2022. This year, we’re hopeful for our return to in-person events while keeping a watchful eye on the global pandemic. To support social distancing efforts, many upcoming events are now available both in-person and online.

We’re shifting our focus toward offering smaller, more curated networking events where peers can connect, collaborate and grow. Our Chattanooga Chamber will deploy these curated experiences across various networking programs including AM Networking and Business After Hours events as well as Chamber peer groups for top investors.

“We are excited for our members returning to more in-person events in 2022. Our members enjoy building relationships, and our councils provide great avenues to engage with community initiatives. Our annual events will be more impactful than ever and we look forward to seeing you soon. Happy New Year! “ — Sandra Mitchell, Vice President, Membership and Investor Relations, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce

City of Chattanooga has partnered with our Chamber to conduct a codes and ordinances survey, available on our social platforms and Bottom Lines newsletter. Chattanooga businesses are encouraged to participate and voice their opinion on improving city-wide regulations that further our economy.

Around 91% of our members come from businesses with 100 employees or less. As we return to rebuilding momentum in 2022, we’re carrying out a concerted effort to celebrate these small businesses through programs that offer incentives for buying local. Our initiatives will help sustain locally owned, locally manufactured and locally supportive businesses, while promoting companies headquartered in Chattanooga and Hamilton County.

These goals represent only a fraction of what our Chamber hopes to achieve. With your support, we can ensure that Chattanooga continues to thrive while offering some of the best jobs in Tennessee.

“As Chattanooga and HamiltonCounty evolve, our Chamber evolves too. This new year, we’re reaffirming our commitment to serve both members and community. Together we can help provide sustainable, profitable and equitable job opportunities for all Chattanooga residents in 2022 and beyond.” – Christy Gillenwater, CCE, IOM, President and CEO, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce
