Chattanooga is a Top 100 Best Place to Live

Livability.com posted their 2019 Top 100 Best Places to Live, and Chattanooga is no. 68. Knoxville and Nashville appear as well.

“Our placement on this list highlights many of our region’s best assets like strong economy, outdoor recreation and great value,” says Christy Gillenwater, Chattanooga Chamber President & CEO. “Our Velocity2040 visioning efforts will keep us on lists like these and move us toward no. 1.”

Creating this list begins with data, examining more than 1,000 cities based on economics, housing, amenities, infrastructure, demographics, social and civic capital, education and health care.

This year, one important question also shaped the list:

What matters most when deciding where to live?

The top answer for 1,000 millennials across the country, by a landslide? Affordability.
